Volcanos National Park  - Rwanda

The Volcanos National Park in Rwanda is not only home to the famous Mountain Gorillas but is also where you can trek Golden Monkeys , hike up the Volcanoes, take nature walks between the twin lakes Burera and Ruhondo, and enjoy bird watching trips.

Akagera Game Reserve

Home to the 'Big 5' -  Lions, Leopards, Elephants, Rhinos and Buffalos as well as a wealth of other animals and birds, visiting  Akagera Game Reserve is a highlight of any trip to Rwanda.  

Akagera is the oldest Game Park in Africa and was created in 1934.  It boasts mountains, 10 lakes, savannah and is part of a conservation programme, most recently successfully re-homing rhinos to provide greater genetic diversity. Akagera is home to over 150 Black and White Rhinos, with new babies also now being born there.

We can arrange one day visits or can book accommodation in the park or nearby.  we can provide a range of vehicles including Safari Cars and 4x4's to suit the size of your group and budget.

Explore Rwanda

Nyungwe National Park in the South West of Rwanda is an incredible rain forest, home to a wide variety of species.  You can trek chimpanzees, walk amongst the tree canopy on the high walkway, take nature or birdwatching walks , visit beautiful waterfalls and experience nature in all her glory.

 

Lake Kivu is the biggest lake in Rwanda, located between Rwanda and DRC Congo.  Here you can enjoy boat trips, join fishing crews as they fish for their daily catch, visit islands.

We can arrange hiking or cycling trips along the Congo-Nile Trail.

 

Kigali is a vibrant city, the cleanest and safest city in Africa, with plenty to do.  Visit the Genocide Memorial to understand Rwanda's history, visit markets to shop for stunning fabrics and souvenirs and experience real life in the city.   There s a Golf-Course, Eco-Parks, Umusambi Village which is home to the magnificent Grey Crested Cranes and much more.

In Nyamirambo you can visit the Womens' Centre, undertake a cookery class or walk around the local area to see people at home and work. There s a car free zone that comes alive at night with music, food and drinks.

There are many wonderful restaurants and coffee shops to suit all budgets.
